History

Fire protection consulting for more than 20 years

Since 1996, the Spitthöver engineering firm has been providing consultation as "nationally-certified experts in fire-protection testing" to developers, architects and specialized planners, in all areas of fire protection.

Founding and name change

In early 2009, Spitthöver association was renamed Brandschutzconsult Spitthöver GmbH. Since then, the organization has been led by long-time employees
Professional Engineer (Dipl.-Ing), Michael Sikorski and Professional Engineer (Dipl.-Ing), Markus Kraft
as managing partners in an independently managed company.

In September 2009,
Professional Engineer (Dipl.-Ing), Jens Kähler
joined as an equal partner.

As senior advisor, Professional Engineer (Dipl.-Ing), Bernhard Spitthöver still supports the new company, but only in an advising role.

National recognition

In January 2009, Michael Sikorski and Markus Kraft were officially recognized by the chamber of engineers of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany as state-approved experts in fire protection.
