The industrial building policies regulate demand, but also facilitate the construction of industrial buildings. This is assessed as either thermal-load independent or dependent. Due to the large variety of different industrial buildings, not all of buildings can be exhaustively regulated by the industrial building policies. Project description for RuhrZink GmbH

BSCON assessed a large section of the 100,000 m² -1,076,000 ft²- Chemical Site of RuhrZink GmbH for fire protection. As one of Germany’s largest Zinc producers, RuhrZink GmbH has large galvanizing plants; facilities that produce of zinc dust, pellets and bars; and is also a large producer of sulfuric acid…

The whole complex was to be assessed against the Federal emissions control act.

Furthermore, the entire premises of RuhrZink GmbH were to be assessed in the structure of emergency response plans of fire protection ordinances.

Subsequent buildings, facilities and storage area to be developed:

-Erection of a Big Bag Station 67.5 m² -or- 726.5 ft²
-Erection of a Zinc column for refining
-Production of addition cell acid tanks
-Facilities for the leaching of zinc calcine and to clean the Rohlauge
-Installation of a vacuum system for the Rösthütten building
