Project description for the Philharmonic Essen
The city of essen features a sentimentally valuable location that is rich in tradition: the Saalbau. Since around 100 years ago it has been a multipurpose venue and an example of civic engagement.
The objective of the draft was to take the excellent concert hall in conjunction with the Saalbau venue of contemporary architecture and to renovate, maintain, and reinforce the building while keeping its historical value.
