Individual compliance procedures

According to German law, only tested and approved materials and machinery may be installed for use in fire protection. Exceptions to the certificates can be made, but an application must be submitted to the head office for individual installation approval.

Monitoring Procedure

We walk our clients though the procedures for their individual approval (ZiE). This way we are able to clarify whether an individual approval is even required. Should it be necessary, we will support the applicant by correctly formulating the request using fire protection-specific phrases so that both the situation and local regulations can be accurately described in order to explain the reasons for the deviation from code. The necessary questions and issues will be discussed with the product manufacturer and answered in advance.

Integration of Material testing

It may be required that the individual approval be reviewed by the upmost building inspector. In this case we will contact the necessary persons and coordinate the materials testing.
