Fire Protection Status Report

Fire protection goals and evaluations

As part of a goals and evaluations, fire hazards and deviations from building regulations are defined and documented in the form of a fire protection status report. This involves property inspections with random, non-destructive testing of the fire protection related building fabric or of the facility as a whole.

Comparison with the existing regulations

The assessment is based either on the current building laws or, where no construction procedures are determined, more building specific regulations and other types of regulations in force at the time of assessment. Also, the existing building permits, fire departent statements, and surveyors’ reports are evaluated according to fire protection requirements. This is expressly offered within the framework of a need for architectural conservation.

Documentation

All deviations from code and other hazards are documented through a written description, photos, and planning documentation of the property in order to pinpoint all faults.
